June looks like a busy month for the gaming world, but it’s pretty broken up. We’re pretty psyched for Lollipop Chainsaw this month (obviously — you’ve seen the sidebar, right?), and I’m personally a bit eager to play Pokémon Conquest as a fan of Pokémon basically since I learned to hold a Game Boy and I loved Nobunaga’s Ambition.
Other stuff to look out for: you Vita players have the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection coming on the 12th, for tactical espionage on the go. An interesting newcomer for the Vita, you should definitely also check out Gravity Rush. Sato Naoko wrote it — as in, the Sato Naoko responsible for the first Silent Hill and Siren — and in it, you manipulate gravity in unique ways by tilting the device. It looks gorgeous, and hits the same day.
Console folk obviously have Spec Ops: The Line coming out the 26th, but in case you need your shooter fix a bit earlier than that, Inversion’s highly-destructible environments and still-interesting gravity manipulation (is this a new trend?) will be available in third-person shooter form on the PC, 360 and PS3 on the 5th.
